i will, umm if you give me lots of nerds, not indian developers who give you buggy websites….of course at least they treat you nice unlike ones in north america… i hate bugs.. they suck, almost as much as the spam you advertise us with.. all these genius who can’t figure out how to make ads better.. dumbasses stop sending us to crap sites and annoying the hell out of us.. we have come to expect crap from ads so we don’t click them.. and frankly google, microsoft their are better ways to make money… called $10 a month, better control your you seo.. without having to no code.. have it be a part of your business apps google… twitter.. have a bubble pop up over links which we pay for and it has the site description, let us target the description by social varaiables.. let us see where are youtube videos get talked about… you want an add interface.. twitter stream ads… to website adboxes…widgetbox.. I so hate bugs..

For people who live on the Internet like me their are weaknesses you run across.  Most you file away in some google doc, or email or notebook hoping one or two gems will be left for that moment when you meet some programmer willing to work for equity which never happens... Mostly though you hope some garage team of nerds will come together and simply make your life easier. 

Well www.picapp.com is one of those services which brings tears to your eyes because as a tuber, as a blogger you always have this inner fear that someone will see a pic you used in a video or a blog without copyright.. sue your pants off and you will end up alone in some cardboard box without even a dog to love you..  well those days are over because picapp gives you a big old database of pics for your blogs, and videos which you can use without being afraid of getting sued... The best thing about the site is you don't even have to leave your name.. can you imagine that.  No horrible sign up forms.. It makes you want to dance like ijustine in an apple store.. the only weakness for me is the search which doesn't always give you the photos you want until the 4th or 5th page but hey... it is like picking a QB in the NFL draft.. you look at Payton Manning long enough you will find a hole or two in his game..

Keep up the good work.. for a blog that loves to point out the flaws in the web picapp is 5 star gebalish...

I always email companies when I go to their website and don't like I see.  This is the email I sent to Wendys.ca

"Your website loads really slow.  For a simple info site flash is not needed.  You really need to focus more around social aspects.  Look at developing a feed from a facebook fanpage, a twitter and youtube channel.  Not to mention you don't have a favicon and when you consider how people use browsers with tabs this makes your site look unprofessional.  They call me igebadia... please make your website look better.  Right now it is making my web look bad."

the one thing I also noticed after I sent it is they have a form saying please contact me back.  It would be simple to build in FB  Connect making it easier for me to enter my info.  the real advantage of this would be they would be able to get a more complete picture of the demographic of user that actually goes to the site and online information is everything.

I always like to take a look at what sites adsense brings me too....I was particularly intrigued by the site shown in the picture because of how they used the word facebook.  As you can see they used a captial B and likely a zero instead of the letter o.  This was likely done because if I remember correctly you are not allowed to use trademarks in google adsense.

Now what does this tell you right away.  Well if I am correct in that you can't use a trademark in google adsense that you do not own it suggest this company is trying to game the system and that bothers me. 

The second thing I notice is no favicon on the website.  You would be surprised how many development companies don't have favicons.  A simple 16x16 image that would take very little time to make.  Another company that does not think it matters is becausematters.com. 

This tells me those who make the sites do not pay attention to details and to me that is a big problem because in a tabbed browser set up it is the favicon that makes your page standout.  When I look up I notice the tabs with favicons far faster than those without and so I am more likely to click on the site with a favicon.  Plus the more tabs you have open the less you see the text.  A favicon simply makes it easier to see which tab is the site you want. 

The 3rd thing I notice is they talk about helping you build your brand in these different sites but don't have a facebook fanpage which is the easiest way to build a brand for free. 

This worries me because the first thing you should do as a company is get a facebook fanpage... does this company have no fans.. is that what they are saying..

The last thing that bothers me is it says live chat... but then says it is offline.. I mean make up your mind....

So would I use facebookgenie?  No... I want someone that pays attention to detail and has immersed themselves in this new social world.. like me...

IT might be monster.ca... I am not a 100% sure and far too lzy to check again.  In the picture you will see how some big shot designer decided it would look cool to have a page layout like you see in the picture.  Normally this might fine except for the whole myspace I can't read the writing effect.  We have all gone on myspace and been like what is the point of trying to read this profile cause the person who made it decided it would bge cool to have a funky picture in the background making it next to impossible to read the text.  You expect this on myspace but what you don't expect this from is monster.ca ... have to be fair and use both.  See one of the most fundimental rules of web design is don't make words hard to read.  Pictures are nice but content is really why you go to most sites..

I spend a ton of money on itunes.  Likely $300 a month if not more.  No not on music but on TV and movies.  What can I say, I hate commercials and would rather go broke paying for TV without them.  My problem is with this British TV show Sanctuary.  It is one of those science fiction shows with vampires, mermaids and other funky creatures.  I went to download the most recent episode.  I go to play it no sound.  So I go and pay another $2 to download it again.. no sound.. so feeling very frustrated I went to itunes website for support and could not find an email address to get help.  I did find a nice picture saying it was possible, but I could not find an email.  Not that it matters cause lets be honest most companies of Apples size never answer questions.  They don't have to cause what the hell am I going to do...

Someday when I have more time or am really bored I will go through all the things wrong with itunes one of the clunkiest interfaces I have ever used in my life.  I mean seriously does apple have a problem with making scrollbars that are not imposssible to click and pull on.  Nope today I want to write about Apples Quick time player.  Nothing more I hate in this world than popups asking me to buy something in the programs I have.  I hated when jingproject.com did it and I hate it when quicktime, imovie and other apple products do it.  I am not stupid.  I know you are always updating your products and their are more advanced pay for services for almost every product.  Annoying me doesn't make me want to buy your products, in fact it makes me hate your products and everything about you.  See that is the thing these computer companies just don't get.  You can't bully or annoy us into buying your products.  With Twitter, facebook, youtube and blogs we the consumer can give you some wonderful bad press.  Sublte is better.  Do like google does with a what's new button on the top of the player which we can click.  Give us the ability to findout for ourselves and that way we are not annoyed.
